Hello everyone,
For a while, I am running 2D y 3D simulations using WAQTEL, until now I was able to run the thermic module, eutro module, and O2 module. All the simulations have been running in version 8 as you recommended.
Reading the water quality manual says: "The oxygen concentration at saturation in the water Cs can be determined according to the water temperature (at 20C, Cs = 9 mgO2/l). This is a parameter that must be known and can be calculated if connected to a temperature module such as THERMIC." For now is running at a constant temperature.

Somebody can explain to me how Can I do that, connect O2 module to the thermic model?
For now, I run for separately from each other, it is possible to run the 2 modules at the same time?
Thank you very much

Yes, it is possible to combine different modules in the same model.
You can do it by giving the following keyword a multiplication of the number of desired quality processes.

WATER QUALITY PROCESS = 22
For example, O2 module is 2, thermic module is 11, then the number to give is 22.

Thank you very much, I tried already, there is an example?
Because I tried and is not working, I don't know, I have some questions:
NUMBER OF TRACERS = 4 /Temp, O2,L, NH4

PRESCRIBED TRACERS VALUES = 28; 7.8;2;0.0;/Temp, O2,L, NH4

INITIAL VALUES OF TRACERS = 27,7.8;3.;0.01

DIFFUSION OF TRACERS = NO

COEFFICIENT FOR DIFFUSION OF TRACERS = 0; 0.;0.;0.

What am I doing wrong?

Any suggestions?
Thank you very much

Hello,

My suggestion is to read the listing file which should give you a message (in the best cases an error message).

Hard to tell you more when you write it is now working. As Christophe often says, we are not magicians...

Anyway, if I were you, I would not have used DIFFUSION OF TRACERS = NO. I can see that in thermic 2d and o2 example, it is written, but it is not a good idea to my point of view.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan

Hello,
You are right,

The message is:
... reading the main module dictionary

... processing the main CAS file(s)
runCAS:
|readCAS: ... could not find the following keyword in the selected dictionary file: Results/R_T2D_CaucasiaNE_Eut.slf' GRAPHIC PRINTOUT PERIOD
| ~> you may not be running the code associated to your CAS file.
I don't know I tried to change it, but the error continued.

Hello,

Can you send the command you ran + full listing file?

This error message occurs when you do not run the right script of code associated to the steering file or there is a mistake with the name of one or several keywords in your steering file(s), or an error when writing keywords and values.

I used:

telemac2d.py T2D_Caucasia_Neutro_PRE-WQ1.cas

runcode.py telemac2d T2D_Caucasia_Neutro_PRE-WQ1.cas

Hello,

I think one symbol ' is missing at the end of the line:
ASCII ATMOSPHERIC DATA FILE = 'meteo_thermic_case1.txt

Hope this helps,
