Hi,

I'm looking for a way to process data in a cross section of a channel.
I know that BlueKenue has the option to show a cross-section of a mesh. If I wanted to do the same on Matlab, which nodes should I select in order to do the same?

I'm following this manual, section 3.4.2, and I notice that once you select two points over the mesh, you have to resample the data and then you can plot the cross-shore section.

So, how Bluekenue do that? Select the near nodes to the line and interpolate them?

I want to do the process that Bluekenue does but in Matlab. I've tried to select the closes nodes to the line from Bluekenue, interpolate them and generate the cross-section but the result is not optimal (see image attached). If I don't interpolate the data, the outcome is worst.

Any advices on what can I do here?

Thanks

I've moved this from the "Blue Kenue" area to the "Scripts" area since the question is asking how to do something with a Matlab script. Perhaps someone here can help you figure it out...

Kindly,
Alan

Hi,
You could take a look to TELEMAC python scripts.
Here are the notebooks which show how to use them: gitlab.pam-retd.fr/otm/telemac-mascaret/...otebooks/index.ipynb

Thanks. I posted in there since I was trying to reproduce the process that BK does.nicogodet wrote:

I'll check it out.
