Hi!
I'm trying the Mascaret plugin on QGIS but I'm having some problems defining the section profils, I dont have the option to put the minbedcoef, majbedcoef, mesh and plan in the ''profiles-attributs d'entités'' window.
Is there a user guide for the Mascaret plugin on QGIS?
Thanks!

Hi Christophe,
I've been trying to make a model using the mascaret plugin as described on github.com/Artelia/Mascaret/wiki/Creatio...2-profils-en-travers but I can't see my profil on the mascaret plugin window (Profile topography edition). I got only the MNT but not the profile.
Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks for your help and your time!

Hi,

It looks like your DEM extraction is OK.
You must use "point selection" and click on "add point selection".

Hi Alexis,
I would like to know if you can tell me if I'm using the correct versions of QGIS and the Mascaret plugin.
I've installed QGIS 3.10, postgreSQL 11.5 and plugin Mascaret 5.0.7 on Windows 11 Pro
I've followed the wiki (github.com/Artelia/Mascaret/wiki) but I still dont get the same thing as described on the document.
For exemple, I dont see the "minbedcoef", "majbefcoef", "planim", "mesh" on the profiles-Attributs d'entités window...is like if I'm using an older version of the plugin:
''Jusqu'à la version 5.0.5 du plugin, ces paramètres étaient définis au niveau de la couche "branchs". Dans les version ultérieures, ils sont définis dans la couche "profiles" de la manière décrite ci-dessous.''
Also, I'm having problem to integrated the topo in the profile layer...

Thanks again for your help.

Hi,

@ingrvm: mesh, planimetry, stricklers are managed in different ways in official release 5.0.7 and experimental release 5.1.7.

In 5.0.7, mesh, panimetry and stricklers are attributes of layer branch.
From 5.1.x, they are attributes of layer profiles.

If your model is built with 5.0.7, you'll just have to upgrade tables to use it with 5.1.x.

You also need to know that yau can't downgrade from 5.1.x to 5.0.7.

A good practice to avoid issues is to save your model with an export. And when you want to upgrade for a new version of the plugin, to create a new base dedicated to the models compatible for this version.
For exemple : if you have a model nammed "model" built with 5.0.7 of the plugin in a base nammed "masc507", I suggest you to create a new base nammed "masc517" to import and upgrade tour model.

Thanks a lot! I'll keep that in mind. For now, I'm just making a new model from scratch it's all new for me.
