Dear Vantony and All,
I have a trouble to use Fudaa -prepro to run Telemac2d. I downloaded install automatic v6p3 and run well in cmd.exe : "runcode.py telemac2d -s ....E:\example.cas". But when I use Fudaa prepro I don't work. Please help me.

I have download prepro version 1.3-RC3(2013-09-04).
(1) Submenu are French inside, how to translate into English version ?
(2) I have gained two files,Tutorial_ BlueKenue_geo.slf and Tutorial_ BlueKenue.cli, how can i set up steering file and execute by Fudaa ?

Any help with these will be much appreciated.

Hi all,

1) Go to Edition->Preferences (Or press Alt-F2) -> Accessibilite->Langue and switch to English. Press the green tick button 'Ecrire' and restart FUDAA.

Now that you are in English press Alt-F2 again, go to Modelling system -> Telemac -> Add and gice the path to the python folder of your telemac installation (mine is C:\opentelemac\v6p3r1\scripts\python27).

2) Bow you can setup a steering file. Go to Applications -> Editor. In the new window press File -> Create. Fill in all the necessary file locations press validate and the table with the possible steering file parameters will open. Once you have configured the steering file, go to Project -> Compute. A python window should appear and the calculation should commence.

I am sorry because I am not polite to tell clear.
I used window 7 64bit. I download automatic install v6p3 from website opentelemac. I use Fudaa prepro 1.3.
And when I run computed from Fudaa prepro 1 DOS window appear and disappear quickly. I can not got any infomation from them. I don't know what happen.
Please tell me some advises about this situation.

When I see computed from fudaa prepro in monitor the command line will like that:

***** cmd.exe launched *****
lancement de cmd.exe
/C
"start /wait /max C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\scripts\python27\telemac2d.py m2.cas" dans E:\LVcuoi\telemacfinal
***** cmd.exe finished *****
but in dos command: runcode.py telemac2d -s E:\LVcuoi\telemacfinal\m2.cas
Can we change the excusive command in the Fudaa prepro?

Hi,

Normally, if the environmental variables for python and telemac are set correctly, you should be able to launch a computation from DOS command prompt or within FUDAA. I prefer the DOS prompt because I can read the error messages if something goes wrong.

So, when you try to run from DOS, what is the error you encounter?

I agree with you about using DOS to run simulation. But I feel alitle bit inconvient for typing code.
