Hej,
I installed Telemac2D on Ubuntu 16.04 and used the Intel compilers. Now when I like to run a project which I had set up with FUDAA I always get the following error.

|runCode: Fail to run
|/opt/intel/compilers_and_libraries_2018/linux/mpi/bin64/mpiexec -wdir /home/tvrl/Downloads/TELEMAC_2D_Baxter_tutorial_files/TELEMAC_simulation_files/baxter_unsteady_own.cas_2018-02-02-09h49min53s -n 1 /home/tvrl/Downloads/TELEMAC_2D_Baxter_tutorial_files/TELEMAC_simulation_files/baxter_unsteady_own.cas_2018-02-02-09h49min53s/out_telemac2d

Do I need to set up FUDAA anyhow? If yes how?

Thanks in advance

I have never used Fudda to run telemac models, but use it to create case and boundary conditions files.

I use Windows OS but the python script should be cross-system. Try something like below and replace the addresses with your Linux ones.

"C:\Python27amd64\python.exe" "C:\\opentelemac-mascaret\\v7p2r3\\scripts\\python27\\runcode.py" telemac3d -c win7gfors -f "C:\\opentelemac-mascaret\\v7p2r3\\configs\\systel.cfg" -s test2.cas
pause

Hope this helps,

Hailiang

Hello,

The "error message" you posted doesn't tell much. It is just the command issued by the shell to run the simulation.

The actual error message is either below or above what you posted.

It would be easier to help if you upload the .sortie file for us to check what the error is.

That explains a lot. The problem is with your mesh. See this:
 ELEBD: POINT 6961
 APPEARS ON 2
 DIFFERENT BOUNDARIES
 WRONG MESH

PLANTE: PROGRAM STOPPED AFTER AN ERROR
 RETURNING EXIT CODE: 2

The problem is that there is a node in your mesh that belongs to two different boundary lines. You'll have to change your mesh.

The problem is, as the error message says, with node nº 6961. Take a look at it, if you don't see the problem, upload the mesh that I'll show you.

Ahh great thanks for that I will check it. Did not see this message.
Btw. another question. Is there anywhere a tutorial how to set up a TELEMAC2d Simulation from scratch?

Yes there is!

It's called the Baxter Tutorial, you can find it in the Download section of this site or in this link.

This tutorial covers everything from creating a mesh to some basic analysis of the results.

It is the tutorial I'm currently running.
I can not find the node. Is there somehow an option to search for a specific node?
Attached is my Mesh.

If you are using BlueKenue, then: select the mesh, go to the menu "Edit->Select Item..." then type the node number.

Alternatively, right-click the mesh, then go to "Select->Node ID..." then type the node number.
