As a side note; the co-ordinate system is NOT kept... buyer beware

Thanks for the hint.
A question regarding the "new" version of Blue Kenue. It can save files in .14 which could be used in e.g. SWAN, but is there a way to also define the boundary conditions for the mesh stored in .14 in Blue Kenue?

Best,
Clemens

On the topic of co-ordinate system...
  • BK 3.12.7 will not assign the Mike21 mesh's co-ordinate system and without opening the file, you won't know what it is.
  • BK 3.12.8 will also not assign the Mike21 mesh's co-ordinate system BUT you WILL be able to see the value of the string because it will appear in the MetaData tab

On the topic of boundary conditions for the mesh stored in .14 file, I'll have to look into that; not sure at the moment as I've never done anything with SWAN. If it's not described in the Reference Manual then I'll have to look at the source code...

Alan

If you have the appropriate values on the nodes in a mesh, you can save the mesh to Shewchuck Triangle Files (*.node, *.ele, *.bot). Maybe that could help you get closer to where you need to be...

In my best English Peasant accent...
"I'm not dead yet!!" ;-)

Anyway... Unless Alan has some tricks up his sleeve, boundary condition editors for Swan, Adcirc, etc. are not implemented in Blue Kenue.

Telemac CONLIM creation/editting was the only one we supported.

Wishing you all health and happiness during this holiday season... Martin
