Hi
As you're in long/lat, 1°~ 70km
So choosing 0.01 al edge length means an edge of 700m.

Maybe it will be easier to work on a plane projection.
If it's not possible, take care to well adapt your bathymetric criterion and the default value

Christophe

Ok thank you for the explanation, but I do not understand is the influence of the bathymetry value

The reason the meshing process is so slow for you is because of the large number of points (281632) that you are supplying as density points. As each node in your new mesh is placed a the local edge length is interpolated (via ID) from the nearest neighbours in each quadrant.

You are also over constraining the meshing process with such a large number of points.

If the manual isn't clear enough then I suggest you download and experiment with a number of example meshes on our ftp site.

Hi Martin,
I was running Bluekenue on a linux virtual machine via wine ... I run TELEMAC under the linux machine and I wanted all the soft linked to TELEMAC installed under the same environment. I've installed bluekenue directly on the windows machine and it's faster.
Moreover the bathymetry file was very heavy, mush larger than the area of the mesh so I've reduce it and it's also faster.

I will experiment the examples,
Thanks!
François
