Gaussian Headland Blue Kenue

Hello,
Does anyone know a way of creating a Gaussian shaped headland mesh in Blue Kenue?
The headland I am trying to create is specified by an exponential function. I thought I would be able to import a point set to BK and create a outline from it to be the basis of the boundary, however I am having trouble doing this.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Scott

in Blue Kenue you can open a point set via a xyz file with the file extension *.xyz and save the file as line set. In order to have a closed line, if you want this, the last point must correspond to the the first point. You can do or check this via a text editor since BlueKenue saves as line set as ASCII data file.
Hope this helps,
Clemens

The outline for a mesh must be provided as a LineSet containing 1 line (i2s or i3s file, see full documentation of the format in Appendix A) This line can also come from an ESRI shape file or a MapINFO mif file)
You can close an open line by selecting it in a view <double left-click> Then <right-click> to show the context menu and select "Close Selected Line". There are a number of other line editing commands on this context menu.
To tell if a line is open or closed... When you select an open line in a view only a length will be reported. If you select a closed line, a length and an area is reported.
Hope this helps... Martin
