Dear all

I have built a mesh using lats and lons in Blue Kenue and used the 2D Interpolator to convert it to a 3d mesh and saved it as a a selafin file for use as my geometry file in Telemac. I assigned the coordinate framework of the mesh object as latlong with an ellipsoid of wgs84 before saving.
When running Telemac I get output that states "no bathymetry in the geometry file and no bathymetry file".
Can anyone please advise what steps I've missed. I thought that I had created a "3D" mesh for telemac.

Regards
John

Make sure the variable of your SELAFIN file in Blue Kenue is called BOTTOM (uper case). It should work.

Thee's no need to assign the coordinate system as this information cannot be stored in a Selafin file.

I'd also like to suggest that when you have created a new Selafin object use the "Add Variable" item on the context menu to add a variable because it provides you with a list of valid variable names and also automatically assigns the appropriate units.

Cheers... Martin

Both

Checked those suggestions and I now have a 3d mesh which runs. :)

Thank-you.
