I am planning to implement my own secondary flow correction algorithm into telemac2d/sisyphe and to do this I need to show the streamlines in the flow domain. Is it possible to show the streamlines in telemac2d using Blue Kenue or would I need to write an algorithm to do it.
FYI : in river2d the streamlines are shown by plotting the cumulative discharge.

Yes it is possible in Blue Kenue. I'll let Martin Serrer from NRC-CHC explained.

Hi Kwan,

Streamlines are implemented in BlueKenue as a "live cursor".

See section 1.6.4.2 "The Live Stream Lines Cursor" in the manual for an explanation.

My goal is to find the radius of curvature of the streamline at each node. Is it possible to do this in Blue Kenue, i.e save the information in a T3S file with the value being the radius of curvature with the +/- sign indicating flow towards the left or right

You can save the streamline(s) to an "i2s" file. This is an ASCII file containing a set of points for each line. See the appendix for format details.
You could then compute the radii yourself.

Although it would not be hard to implement, there is currently no function to automatically generate a t3s file with the radius of curvature at each node.

I want to write my own subroutine to calculate the secondary flow correction and it uses the radius of curvature of the streamline at each node. If you are able to include this into the next version of Blue Kenue that would be a great help to me. When I finish writing the subroutine, I'll be able to contribute it to the Telemac community.

I've already implemented this algorithm in river2d morphology and it works very well.
