Dear all
I have simulated a coastal area with Telemac and now I am investigating the results by a selafin file in Blue Kenue. My geometry file which is created by Blue Kenue has two mesh sizes. Now in the result visualization (for example velocity arrows) I have high density arrows in the zone of fine mesh. How can I have a uniform visualization in my results?

Regards

Have a look in the reference manual? If you can't find what you are looking for then please explain the details of what you have tried and what has failed so that I can then improve the reference manual for future searchers.

For example, look at the properties of the view you are using (e.g. 1D View, 2D View, 3D View, etc) and you might find something that you need.

Kindly,
Alan

Dear Alan
I tried to read the manual but I didnt found this.
I have to size mesh in my domain. When I am showing my UV results the arrows are very dense in the region of fine mesh and they are far in the coarse mesh. I want to show a uniform arrow distribution in my domain. Can I do that by BK?

Here is what I did:
  1. Load the same SLF file twice
  2. I added one more 2D View (so I have two 2D Views in total)
  3. Drag a vector object to one of the 2D Views
  4. Drag the "same" vector object from the corresponding (i.e. second) SLF object to the other 2D View
  5. I animated both objects and stepped them both to the 25th frame
  6. I now have two 2D Views displaying the same vector data
  7. I zoomed and panned both views to the same extent (and locked one of them to keep it in place)
  8. I changed the scale of one of the views so that the arrows got smaller (and I added a circle in the attached picture so that you can see where it is)

Hi,

If I understand correctly what you want is to see regularly spaced
velocity vectors.
One way to achieve this is to create a regular grid (r2s) of a suitable size and spacing and use "Map Object" to interpolate velocities from the triangular mesh to the regular grid.

Hope this helps...
Cheers... Martin

Dear Martin
My velocity is an animated file. How can I map the animated file with a grid?
I tried it but it doesnt show the grid in the map items.

The regular grid MUST be the current object.
Click on it in the WorkSpace and then select "Map Object"

Can I set the google map of the region in to background of my results?

You could import a GeoTIFF and display that on your background...
