Hi everybody,

as the title suggested, I would like to ask if anybody knows the reason why the result stored in the slf mesh (left picture) differs from that shown in BlueKenue via Live Cursor (right), because if the value shown in BlueKenue Live Cursor is wrong, the animation I want to export is also wrong (wrong class in the legend).

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi
What are the other values around this node?
Could you join the slf file to let us see?

Regards
Christophe

Thanks for the reply.
The values around this node are almost the same (about 0,00036 m). But the Live Cursor shows me the values are much more higher (0,008 m), that leads to the "wrong" legend class.

I am finding a way to clip a part of my mesh to upload since the data is very big.

I uploaded the Water Depth slf together with a legend file for classification.

It would be great if you could give me some ideas about that. Thank you very much!

Edit: I am using BlueKenue 3.12.0 Alpha.
Edit 2: I use FUDAA PREPRO to analyze the data stored in the slf, it shows an accordance to the Live Cursor Value, so I wonder why BlueKenue reads very much lower values?

I don't observe the difference between values and live cursor...
So I can't help more

As it concern Blue Kenue, I will move this topic on the BK category...

Thank you for testing my files.
It is very strange since I still observed the differences, especially in locations where water depth is low.

I will attach a video showing my problem. Hope it could clarify my problem a little bit more.

I upload a small video showing my problem. Unfortunately the mouse cursor in the video is shifted a little bit.

According to the video, I could reproduce your problem on my computer...
IN fact, I think this is a bug of Blue Kenue.
The map value is correct and the live cursor is also correct but I think the value you obtain when you click on a node is the value at the last time step, not at the real time you looking for.
It's not easy to see in BK as the extract time series on the node is not working...

Hope this helps

Thank you, yes, I think you are right. The value what I see is the last time step.

But then there is generally a bug of Blue Kenue, since even if I extract the maximum value of the mesh (Extract Surface/ Temporal Maximums) and then try to export this maximum layer to some other data types (xyz or pt2), only the values of the last time step will be exported, and not the maximums. Fortunately I could use FUDAA or Python for this task.

Hopefully the developer of Blue Kenue can fix this problem.

Thank you for letting me know about this. I have downloaded your 2 example files.

At the moment, my debugger is not working (long story!). And as soon as I am able to run my debugger then I will have a look to see what is causing this. At the moment, I am suspecting some kind of interaction between multi-frame objects and attributes but will need to confirm in the source code.

If you want... could you try creating a single frame object and checking the live cursor to see if the values match with the nodes?

Kindly,
Alan
