Hi all,

I'm using the last versione of bluekenue that I recently downloaded and I would report some problem I'm facing:

1)The command "Invert Selected Line" is always unclickable for me

2)When I split a line in some parts, I always find some problem in selecting some part of the line. In fact, seems to me that this new version allows to select a line only if the user clicks on a point of the line (forcing to visualize the object with "Lines and Point").

The problem occur as in the example (see pic attached).
If I double-click on:

- point "A" = it select "1"
- point "B" = it select "2"
- point "C" = it select "4"

So, I'm mistaking something or someone else find out these problems?

Thanks for the attention.

Cheers,

Andrea.

Hello again,

I found another problem in using Bluekenue vers. 3.12.0.

When I try to load a Workspace it comes up with an error (see pic attached) and the loading fail. As a result I obtain only few of the things that I saved in the workspace and it's quite annoying to reload each of them manually.

Someone else faced this problem?

Cheers,

Andrea

Other problem:

I open a set of .XYZ point on Bluekenue, worked with them, used for interpolate the mesh through the Interpolator tool in Bluekenue (No problem here). Before closing the workspace I saved the .XYZ point (because I slightly changed some value).

The problem occur when I try to reload the set of point in bluekenue, in fact it shows an error (see "pic_3" attached).

Even the Interpolator cannot be reload, showing an error message (see "pic_4" attached).

HOW I SOLVED THE ISSUE

For the set of .XYZ points I solved the issue by opening the file (notebook) and DELETING ALL THE HEADER LINES (these lines are created by bluekenue when saving the file).

By deleting all the header lines I can load the file on Bluekenue, even though it shows an error message saying that header can't be processed (see "pic_5" attached).

I would specify that I'm not complaining about the software, but I'm just trying to help with the development.

Cheers,

Andrea

Thank you for taking the time to share all of these things. I will try to copy them over to the bug reporting system on CHyMS at some point in the near future. I use a bug system because I find it easier to keep track of all of the things I have on the go...

If you'd like to be more closely involved in the bug reporting/testing aspect of Blue Kenue please let me know. I can create an account for you and add you to the Blue Kenue Community part of CHyMS...

Kindly,
Alan

Sure why not? I would be very grate to help the community in developing Bluekenue, but unfortunately I'm not so "skilled". I will do as much as I can anyway.

Regards,

Andrea
