open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

When trying to import Triangle mesh files (both .node and .ele), the program crashes and auto-closes with no error messages shown.

Here are the mesh files:

I have fixed the crash; sorry for the inconvenience

Here is a screen snapshot showing your data. Since there is no *.bot file all elevations will be 0 and hence the colour scale will only have 1 level.

PS This fix will make its way into the next alpha of Blue Kenue after 2019-05-30

You're on the right track.
The .BOT file should only contain a single column of elevation values.

I have added a prompt to ask for the missing data value (if needed); and I am defaulting to -99 as that value seems to be used in your case.

Here is a screen snapshot of all of the elements working for me. I suspect that if there are extra values in your file (as Martin points out) then those will be ignored... leading to an unexpected result.



This change will be included in the next release of Blue Kenue (after 2019-06-10)
