javirg	Maybe this bug has been reported, but I have no time to read thru all forum threads With BK 3.11.6, I'm not able to import/open .xyz files. I tried to debug the error by changing the .xyz file: I removed the header, changed column delimiters, etc. with no success. Regards, Javi

I've downloaded them from the EMODNET Bathymetry service.

I'm going to grab a bite to eat and then come back and have a look in detail. I'll try to download a file from the EMODNET service you mentioned and see what happens... if you happen to read this and want me to download a file in a specific way please let me know

I downloaded an EMODNET file for you:

First 5 lines of data:

3.49114584;61.88697936;-363.70;
3.49218751;61.88697936;-363.47;

Those xyz files are too large for being opened with common readers. I usually split them to my area of interest using a Python script.

I also do not get any money for debugging BK, but I'm pleased to contribute
