I'm new to TELEMAC and am trying to figure some things out using the examples. I'm trying to inspect the boundary conditions using BlueKenue but can't find a way to open the .cli file. With the model I made, I save the .bc2 file as well and can view that one without trouble, but that does not seem to be the case in the examples. I know I can open it with a text editor, but then I have no idea which point is where.

Hi,

How to read the .cli file when opened with text editor:

1. The right end shows you the nodes that the boundary condition(s) have been placed on. Scroll through the .cli file & check the right column

2. The first 3 columns (the left end) show you the boundary condition specifed e.g. if the column starts with 555 means prescribed H & Q (see BlueKenue manual for the codes)

3. The order of listing of the nodes at the right end tells you which boundary comes first i.e. boundary 1, boundary 2 …

I hope this is helpful.

Kind regards,
Chijioke
