Hi Yasmina,

It means that your mesh is being built. And as you ask for a default resolution of 10 meters, it can take a while!
You can try an higher value for the default resolution and see if the mesh is built faster. Maybe you don't need 10m resolution everywhere.

I hope it helps.

Thank you for your response, i had tried a resolution of 100 but the coast line was completly deformed. I don't know how i can take a small resolution where i want only.
Best regard.

Yasmina,

To refine your mesh in some places, you have to introduce density objects.
For the coastline, you can resample it.
In your last post, you unticked the edge growth ratio.
Take time to carefully read the BlueKenue user manual (section 2.2.3) to well understand how to build a mesh.

You can also found other discussions of this subject in the forum, and also some tutorials to help you step by step.

Laurent

Dear Yasmina,

I had the same issues when I created my mesh as well. In the end I took the time and created the outline in QGis with specific distances between the nodes. So lets say your mesh should have a resolution of 10m at a specific area there your nodes of the line should have an equal distance of 10m as well. It takes some effort but in the end a good mesh results in a better model.
I never used the "Resample Outline" from BK since I always had bad results.

Hope that helps a bit.

In BlueKenue, you can also resample your line out of the T3 mesh generator, before creating your mesh.
Right click on a i2s object -> resample, and select the desired resampling method and resolution.

Which Blue Kenue are you using?
- 3.3.4
- 3.9.5 beta (2017-05-31)
- 3.10.0 alpha (2017-09-27)
- something else?

Kindly,
Alan

Hello,
i use 3.3.4.
the mesh is finaly done.
The problem it's that when i make the island as a hardline, the mesh is generate like the picture below and when i make it as a softline the mesh is perfectly done.
But sadly the island are completly deformed.
I don't know how i can have the two result at the same time.

Dear Musterman, leballeur,

I think that the problem is not in the coastline finaly.

I think that the problem is in the islands like i explained above.
