open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Dear Telemac community,

I would like to investigate uncertainty quantification but I could not install Salome-Hydro (on ArchLinux).
I was wondering if it is possible to have the so-called otgui (OpenTURNS GUI) running outside the framework Salome?
For mor information about this GUI, see files.eccomasproceedia.org/papers/uncecomp-2017/17143.pdf.

Moreover in the last version, is the metamodel (or surrogate) model implemented? It is quoted as a perspective in the link above : "Metamodel : given a (X,Y) sample, create a metamodel (Generalized Polynomial Chaos or kriging) a convert it into a physical model".

Thank you for your response.
Yes, I already installed the Python package with the link provided.
But unfortunately this does not include the GUI... And I do not know if it is possible to install it (outside Salome-Hydro).

The GUI of OpenTURNS exists outside of Salome under the name Persalys :
www.persalys.fr/?la=en

It should be the same GUI as the one which is included in Salome : it does not cover all the functionnalities of OpenTURNS, but the most commonly sought (and also provides some functionnalities of the module ADAO if I am not wrong).

You can get Persalys on request by filling the form of the Persalys website.
