I know I can't represent 1m features with 20m triangles but I can choose where to put the nodes of the triangles.
If the dike is in the middle of the triangle I won't see it. If it is on the side of the triangle it will be enough for me to "represent" it. I don't disregard the dike like this.

I had a problem when the submeshes were too close. That's why I put a "space" between. I will try with higher density on this "space".

One other remark

Take in mind that only one point an the crest of dikes could create some small discharge accross the dike.
It's often advise to represent dikes by 4 points 2 on the top of the dike and 1 on each side at the foot of the dike. This is a very high constraint but also the only way to well represent the flow...
