Hello to all,

I am not yet familiar with details of Telemac.
I know how to produce triangular meshes of unbranched channels by the BlueKenue manual.
However,i do not know how to make mesh of branched channels in Bluekenue, especially in the river junction?

I hope anybody can help me.

Thanks in advance.

Hi
You should generete each branch separately and put the result as a submesh in your global mesh generator...
Hope this helps

Thank you!
I did as you said yesterday.
But there are problems in the river junction.

In Figure 1(example provided by telemac.org), the junction line is only one line between the Branch Channel and the Main Channel.

In our case(Figure 2), which is the complete junction figure of the branch and the main channel, we can combine them by T3 mesh generator, however, the line between them is not one line, there are several lines between them.

Figure 3 details the local figure which is at the top-right corner of Figure 2,Meanwhile,Figure 4 is the junction lines between branch and main channel in the middle of Figure 2.

Can you tell me how to deal with the junction like as the example case?

Thanks!

OK
You should let some space between the 2 submesh
Stop the mesh on the NE branch 1 element before and the let BK compute some elements between the 2 branches...
The telemac example mesh was built with another mesh generator.

Hope this helps

Thank you so much! you help me the problem puzzled me several days. As you said, I leave some place between the 2 branches. when using the T3 mesh generator, It is ok automatically.

Good night!
