I created a "simple" test case that is meshed correctly. As time permits, I will create a more complex case to see if I can narrow down a precise fault that I can use to debug. Note that a "good" test case is one that is small and "easy" to trace.

Hi Alan,

I will try to give you a small project to reproduce the issue.
i agree the files I gave are quite large but the issue occurs with them.

In your screened mesh, you don't have duplicated elements over submeshes ?

Test Case 2 (see my previous post) used the Mesh Generator to create the 3 submeshes and then used the Mesh Generator once more to create the final mesh.

Test Case 4 (see this post) used the Channel Generator to create the 3 submeshes and then used the Mesh Generator once more to create the final mesh.

Both Test Case 2 and 4 do not have duplicated elements.

There is, however, what seems to be a missing 2 missing lines in Test Case 4. I will try to investigate why...

The missing 2 lines fault exists in BK 3.3.4 also... so it seems to be a very OLD fault

FYI

Internally, there are 4 stages in which elements are culled. I have turned 3 of them off and the last one that is still on seems to be the reason for the 2 missing lines.

This stage culls elements via a number of different function calls. I will continue to narrow down exactly which one of these functions is at fault as time permits.

Kindly... Alan
