Hello:
I am using TELEMAC-v8p4 version on Linux system. I want to simulate a road drainage outlet using a rectangular outflow boundary. My case is a 200x20m sloping area with a slope of 0.01 (Fig 1). I want to set the boundary conditions as shown in Fig 2 in BlueKenue. However, I found that BlueKenue cannot select a closed boundary when selecting boundary points. I tried to use two orthogonal lines instead of the whole rectangle (Fig 3), but an error occurred during the simulation:"POINT 52 IS ON A BOUNDARY BUT NOT IN THE LIST OF BOUNDARY." Can anyone provide some suggestions? Thank you very much!

Hi
I think there is no direct solution in BK.
Try to manually modify the .CLI file

Thank you!

I attempted manual modifications to the .CLI file and also corrected the boundary file for the case of two right-angled lines. The results obtained were consistent.
However, this led to new questions regarding the output variable "VOLUME IN THE DOMAIN" from the simulation run's terminal window. The variable indicates that a considerable amount of flow is leaving through the rectangular boundary I set up (the final volume is 136 m³ when the boundary is closed, and 45 m³ when the boundary is open, and I have confirmed that this difference is not due to infiltration). In contrast, the other output variable "FLUX BOUNDARY" has an extremely small value, and its oscillations are noticeable. I require the boundary outflow rate and would appreciate your insights on this matter.

This is no longer a problem with BK so you should post in telemac2d instead...
You should also give more informations about the type of boundaries, the values imposed ...
