Hi,there!

When I use Blueklue to generate the bottom file of a very meandering river, the slf file is shown like this(please see the attachment). The spacing of the sections in the case is about 1000m,but it seems the result is not satisfying.

So should I add some extra points to improve the result or is there any useful techniques to make use of that is not well understood by me?

Thanks~

Best wishes
Hong

Hi Hong,
It looks to me that your river banks definition does not
align with the bathymetric data.
I cannot make any further suggestions without seeing the data.

Yes Hong,

The interpolator doesn't know that your bathymetric xyz data represents cross sections. It assumes an isotropic distribution of
source data.

You will have to:
1. provide denser data by interpolating between cross sections yourself
OR
2. use some other tool to do the bathymetric mapping.

Thanks again,Serrer.

By the way, what kind of tool can do the bathymetric mapping?
