hi everyone,

I had a question about the computing performance statistics since I'm in calibration stage for my model now. I have read the blue Kenue manual section 1.6.6.3 which we can compare the measured data (from field work) with the model data output (point time series). but it did not state the type of file for measured data to use in the Blue Kenue.

I have already try to use the measured data and save it in .tb0 format file but it showed an error 'EndHeader keyword not found in the file'. then I extract the time series file and save it in tb0 format and edit it by change the data with my measured data and the top of the file remain the same but the error still the same.

can anyone showed how I can include my data in Blue Kenue so I can calibrate the model? because it doesn't make sense that we have to edit it in 'edit time series' dialogue editor one by one.

thanks in advance for your advice and tips.

regards,

shahirah

Hi Shahira,

All of the formats (including *.tb0) are described in the Blue Kenue Manual. If you have created a file that is not loading into Blue Kenue, please send it to me and I'll have a look. Off the top of my head though, it sounds like you are missing one or more things in your *.tb0 formatted file... in this case "EndHeader" in the header of your file... maybe other things too? It is hard to tell as you haven't provided an example that won't load.

On a side note, if Blue Kenue is not able to do something that you want then please be patient or throw gobs of money my way! ;) At one point I was thinking about creating a kickstarter project to try and find money to support development work... if there is any interest in that then I'll pursue it...

Kindly,
Alan

hi Alan,

thanks for the reply.

Blue Kenue actually not difficult to follow. :cheer: and i'm totally followed the forum for additional info, but maybe I'm lack of knowledge about formatting files and need to read lots. I think my file might be missing something indeed. but as I mention I had copy paste to the original tb0 format time series from BK but it doesn't work. I'm not sure why hopefully u can help me with this.

here with attaching my measured data with the header from the original time series tb0 format.

thanks in advance

You are very welcome. Glad I could help sort it out...

It looks like you are using Blue Kenue version 3.3.4, right? Have a look at the post called "Blue Kenue BETA release download site"... ;)

Alan
