Hi,

I have a 3D model working with K-E on both horizontal and vertical. In a simulation, I saved the Eddy diffusivity from the three dimensions (NAX, NAY, and NAZ) for the salinity tracer I have on the model. However, they all have the same values. Is this intended to be that way?

Are there other possibilities for this?

Hi,

since the k-e model is an isotropic turbulence model, it calculates only one turbulent viscosity which in all three spatial directions is the same.
