Hi,

Think I've discovered a bug when coupling TOMAWAC with TELEMAC3D and GAIA.

Am currently working on a 3 way direct coupling of TELEMAC3D, TOMAWAC and GAIA. Was running the model first with just TELEMAC3D and GAIA to spin up the model before simulating a storm with TOMAWAC. When restarting the next computation with all three models the simulation doesn't start when the 'COUPLING WITH' keyword is set to:

COUPLING WITH = 'GAIA,TOMAWAC'

but does work when set to:

COUPLING WITH = 'TOMAWAC,GAIA'

Presumably there's a precedent somewhere in the code where that one model has to set first?

The error appears to be with the allocation of certain variables, for example the error I get is as follows:

Error termination. Backtrace:
At line 749 of file .../.../sources/gaia/lecdon_gaia.f
Fortran runtime error: Attempting to allocate already allocated variable 'num_isusp_icla'

One to flag, but not necessarily the greatest issue!

Cheers

David

Hello,

Your problem seems similar to a problem corrected in February 16th. Are you using the development version of main ? If you are using V8P5, you can use the correction made in commit "[telemac3d] Fix #973: wrong tests when coupling GAIA with a 3rd module thanks to Florent" of 2024-02-16 11:35:15

Test of INCLUS(COUPLING,'GAIA ') must be changed by INCLUS(COUPLING,'GAIA') in 5 subroutines.

Hope it helps.
