Hello Everyone,

I am simulating an experimental flume problem on Telemac 3D/GAIA. I am observing a large amount of scour at just few nodes near one side of the inlet. Due to this localised scour on few nodes at the inlet, my results at the test sections are also effected. I have tried with various cell sizes of 10cm, 5cm, 2cm etc. But the problem doesn't solve.

Also, does using T3 channel mesher for problems dealing with experimental flumes have any advantage over the T3 mesh generation.

Hi ravi,

I would recommend using a non-erodible zone at the inlet. I use the trick in #41943 which consists of slightly changing the roughness coefficient in the desired zone.

Hope this helps,
