Hello,

I think the only way to make my model better is to change the wind from Option=2 (wind variable in time, constant is space) to Option=3 (wind is variable in time and space).
Is the only way to get variable wind in time and space in my model to program something with FORTAN?
Is it not possible to use the file I use with Option for Wind=2 also with Option for Wind=3? Since I really don't know how to program anything in FORTAN.

I attached my wind file that I using currently for Option for Wind = 2.

Hello Erken,

If you want to use OPTION FOR WIND = 3, there are 2 possibilities:
- using an ASCII ATMOSPHERIC DATA FILE: in that case, you have to program something in Fortran as there are many ways to deal with your input file,
- using a BINARY ATMOSPHERIC DATA FILE: in that case, there is already a solution implemented in TELEMAC but your input file has to follow the expected format (see e.g. the WAQTEL user manual).

It would be strange to use the same file for options 2 and 3 as your file has only one value for every point.
